Title: Social Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager

Overview: Fast-growing, global, dancewear and performance costume company looking for a creative, passionate and results-driven Social Marketing Coordinator with a competitive studio dance background. The ideal candidate will nurture and grow our social networks of 100,000+ followers across multiple brands within our B2B channel - Weissman, to drive brand engagement and build equity. This role will work closely with our Marketing and Creative teams as well as collaborate with the Senior Social Marketing Specialist to develop and execute social content on all social platforms for Weissman.


● Executes a comprehensive social media strategy that defines how social marketing techniques will be applied to increase reach, engagement, traffic and new customer acquisition across all Weissman brands

● In collaboration with our Creative team based on social strategy, develops engaging, attention-grabbing and shareable social content that connects with our target Weissman audiences (dance teachers and studio owners) and facilitates their interaction with our brands

● Owns and maintains the Weissman social calendar and all activities related to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Youtube

● Assist the Senior Social Specialist in the development of video content, including the creation of behind-the-scenes footage.

● Assists in the weekly social post planning, including adding required links and tags.

● Executes on the social budget including all social advertising activity including promoted posts, ads and social tools

● Stays on top of the latest Social trends, platforms and tools, looking at ways to utilize these emerging trends and tools to increase our following and engagement

● Monitors and responds to comments on all social platforms for Weissman and DWS

● Monitors and reports on competitor social marketing activity

● Reviews and collaborates on analyzing key performance metrics to gauge success

● Follows organization-wide social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media

Qualifications and Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, E-commerce, or related field

● Minimum of 1-year social marketing experience, preferably with an online or fashion retailer

● 5+ years studio competitive dance background required

● Dance studio teaching experience is a plus

● Genuine passion and interest for social media and new social trends

● Demonstrated creativity - sparkling with conceptual ideas that will engage social audiences

● Excellent written and editorial skills (can master the clever caption!)

● Deep understanding of social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, blogs)

● Paid social media advertising experience is a plus

● Interest in fashion and a willingness to learn all aspects of the brand/business

● Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment

● Results-oriented, with an interest in analytics

● Superb attention to detail and organized

● A team player with great communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with our Creative and Marketing teams to deliver engaging content

● Knowledge of Google Sheets (or Excel) and Google Analytics. Knowledge of Sprout Social or other social analytics tools is a plus
