Job Description: Video Production Internship - Summer 2023

Our Weissman Summer Internship is a 10 week program based in our St. Louis office. Participants of our intern program will gain valuable hands-on experience to include, but not limited to, industry training, cross-functional departmental exposure, and a final project presentation at the end of the summer.

Dates: May 29th, 2023 - August 4th, 2023 (10 Weeks, Paid Internship)

Position Summary: Weissman Intern is responsible for providing administrative assistance and organizational support to the corresponding department. Interns are assigned a mentor within the department to collaborate with throughout the program. Interns have a primary focus on completing a project with partners from cross-functional teams. At the end of the summer, the final project will be presented to the leadership team. After successful completion of the internship, there is an opportunity to become eligible for full-time employment.

Video Production (Marketing Creative) Intern Responsibilities:

Responsibility 1: Work closely with the Creative and Marketing Teams to shoot, organize and edit video in line with marketing efforts and stories

Responsibility 2: Manipulate graphics to enhance footage while improving and correcting lighting, coloring

Responsibility 3: Complete revisions and deliver final files in different formats for marketing needs

Skills & Expertise:

  • Programs or software knowledge required: Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets); Cinema 4D is a plus

  • Computer skills required: Mac OS

  • Initiative to approach a creative problem/task and seek new solutions

  • Resilience when receiving feedback about work

  • A great aesthetic eye to help guide creative work and collaborate with team

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university; Sophomore year or above.

  • Working towards a degree in Bachelor of Arts or Fine Arts with an emphasis in Video Production or a related field like Marketing Communications

  • Qualifications that may be a plus or preferred: experience with photography, photoshoots, styling, experience with fashion design, dance or gymnastics background of any kind and at any level

  • Ability to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri for the summer

  • Available to participate in our full-time internship program from the end of May/June to August 2023. Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm

  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
