Job Description: Styling Internship - Summer 2023
Our Weissman Summer Internship is a 10 week program based in our St. Louis office. Participants of our intern program will gain valuable hands-on experience to include, but not limited to, industry training, cross-functional departmental exposure, and a final project presentation at the end of the summer.
Dates: May 29th, 2023 - August 4th, 2023 (10 Weeks, Paid Internship)

Position Summary: Weissman Intern is responsible for providing administrative assistance and organizational support to the corresponding department. Interns are assigned a mentor within the department to collaborate with throughout the program. Interns have a primary focus on completing a project with partners from cross-functional teams. At the end of the summer, the final project will be presented to the leadership team. After successful completion of the internship, there is an opportunity to become eligible for full-time employment.
Styling (Marketing Creative) Intern Responsibilities:
Responsibility 1: Responsible for on-set styling and effectively achieving Weissman's desired fit and creative output
Responsibility 2: Prepare costumes for photoshoots steaming, pulling accessories and organizing daily set-list; Keep samples organized before, during and after the photoshoot shoot
Responsibility 3: Support and help the Studio Team on planning and executing photoshoots and video shoots and partner with the Associate Fashion Director and Associate Stylist to accurately represent Weissman's collection of products and brands
Skills & Expertise:
Programs or software knowledge required: Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets), Shotflow and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
Computer skills required: Mac OS
Experience in working with children
Initiative to approach a creative problem/task and seek new solutions
Resilience when receiving feedback about work
A great aesthetic eye to help guide creative work and collaborate with team
Currently enrolled in a college or university; Sophomore year or above.
Working towards a degree in Bachelor of Arts or Fine Arts with an emphasis in Fashion Marketing/Merchandising Degree or a related field
Qualifications that may be a plus or preferred: experience with photography, video, photoshoots, styling, video production, Experience with fashion design, dance or gymnastics background of any kind and at any level
Ability to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri for the summer
Available to participate in our full-time internship program from the end of May/June to August 2023. Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm
Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
