FREELANCE WARDROBE STYLIST

FREELANCE JOB SUMMARY 

The Freelance Wardrobe Stylist is responsible for styling our on-model e-commerce costumes and dancewear. You will style garments on-set and ensure the highest quality product fit and styling. Not a full time position. Will be booked on an as needed basis. 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

● Responsible for on-set styling and effectively achieving Weissman's desired fit and creative output 

● Prepare costumes for photoshoots steaming, pulling accessories and organizing daily set-list 

● Meet daily product goals by managing set-list priorities and have the ability to pivot photoshoot priorities in a dynamic environment 

● Partner with the Associate Fashion Director and Associate Stylist to accurately represent Weissman's collection of products and brands ● Keep samples organized before, during and after the photoshoot shoot 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

● Have a passion for styling and must be able to understand and communicate fashion styling elements based on Weissman's dancewear brands 

● Experience working with children. All models are between the ages of 3 and 16 years of age. 

● Have a keen eye for product fit and design detail 

● 2+ years professional wardrobe styling experience 

● Excellent people skills 

● Familiarity with commercial photography studio or related business 

● Reliable with the ability to adapt to changing conditions 

● Ability to work under pressure in deadline-driven environment 

● Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail 

● Strong oral communication skills 

● Team player 

● Exude professionalism, positivity, and exhibit proper studio protocol 

● Dance knowledge is a plus 

● Live within driving distance of our studio - St. Louis(Maplewood) area.
