A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

As a Customer Service Specialist, you ARE Weissman to our customers. Since customer service is part of our brand statement, your job is essential. Starting with establishing a good rapport, you take ownership of all aspects of customer support through to resolution. With diplomacy, efficiency, and a willingness to “go the extra mile,” you help process orders, returns, and exchanges as well as just help them make sure that their performers are ready for their big day. To you, every customer account is the “most important one.”

You keep detailed and up-to-date logs of all your phone calls. And, It’s a good thing that you enjoy chatting on the phone. Because, from January through May, you spend about 85% of your time on the phone. With your excellent knowledge of our products, marketing campaigns, and industry trends, you provide competent service, upsell products, and generate leads. You also make outbound courtesy and sales-focused calls as needed. You even get to assist with training new employees, allowing them to listen to your phone calls.

When not on the phone, you keep busy with a variety of customer-oriented administrative tasks. You process mail/fax orders, coordinate product exchanges and apply purchase orders. With attention to detail, you review orders and stock availability to provide customers with proactive communication regarding key dates, deadlines, promotions, and potential issues. You process returned catalogs, confirming and updating addresses. You also get to participate in customer events such as our annual showcase and the UDMA shows.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST

● High school diploma or equivalent

● 2+ years of customer service experience

● Typing, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Outlook skills

● Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

● Professional phone skills

● Did we mention amazing customer service skills?

WORK SCHEDULE

We are open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 6:30 pm. Candidates need to be able to work until 6:45 pm.
